Whitewood Golf & Country Club

The Whitewood Golf & Country Club possesses a challenging (and immensely enjoyable) 9 hole layout which is well known locally for its high quality greens. All of Whitewood's greens are raised at the back (about two to three feet higher than the front) providing gentle putting slopes on their 7000 square foot surfaces. As well, the sides and the rears of the greens are bermed to help corral approach shots that miss their mark. Flat and easy to walk, the course has fairways of average width that are bordered in most cases by thick growths of trees. Whitewood is a very friendly course that provides a free camp-ground (complete with electricity or RVs) for visitors to the town.
