The hilly terrain at the fork of Rinfret Creek and the Souris River is the site of this newly expanded 18 hole course. The original 9 holes date back to 1921 and follow the creek closely, crossing it on the 9th fairway. The fairways on the front 9 are more confined than the largely open back 9, and play straight ahead with few surprises near their flat, small greens. Of special note is the 50' footbridge over the creek connecting the 5th and 6th holes. The newer back 9 holes (completed in 1992) have been designed in a more modern style, making them play like an entirely different golf course. The greens here are well guarded by sand-traps (often located towards the front), and can be quite tough to gain leverage on due to their fast, rolling nature.
