The house was built in 1922 to house the local branch of the Bank of Scotland with spacious accommodation upstairs for the Manager. The house offers friendly, family run accommodation. There is one twin room, and two rooms which can be used either as double, twin or family rooms. One of these rooms also offers the added luxury of having en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have tea/coffee facilities, heaters and hand basins. The large guests lounge, which has views across the Kilbrannen Sound, has satellite T.V. and during the cold weather an open fire. The village itself has tennis, bowls, fishing both in ponds and on the burns. The local stables not only gives lessons but trecks can be organised for both experienced and novice riders of all ages.
