Located on Kingston Pike-Cumberland Avenue, this is one of
Knoxville's oldest continuously occupied houses. Drury Paine Armstrong built Crescent Bend in 1834 as the centerpiece of his 600 acre farm. The restored house showcases 18th century American and English furniture, decorative arts and a 1640-1820 collection of English silver. Terraced Italinate gardens with fountains descend to the river. Guided tours are available.
Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1pm-4pm in March through December; closed major holidays
