Lookout Mountain Incline Railway

Comments: I've been to Chattanooga, TN many times, and have ridden the Incline Railway several times. This is quite an experience. I first rode this unusual railway in 1958, and it's still as exciting as it was the first time. The ride itself is very different from other rail car travels, in that it goes straight up and back down the side of Lookout Mtn. Many people who live on the mountain ride the railway down and drive to work, then return at the end of the day. There's a great view of the surrounding area as you approach the top. It's well worth the experience of this "different" ride. March, 2006
