Search Johnson City Tennessee

Situated on 17 acres in a beautiful mountain valley of eastern Tennessee, the Tipton - Haynes Historic Site has been described as Tennessee's most historic location. This was home to statesmen of the American Revolution through the Civil War. And a battle over the formation of the State of Franklin was fought on this hallowed ground. The farm includes the Tipton horse barn, corn crib, and Hayne's law office. A small museum is in the visitor center.
