Located in the south of Antalya province, Serik enjoys the typical Mediterranean climate of hot dry summers and warm winters. It is surrounded by the city of Antalya on the west, Manavgat to the east, Bucak and Sutluce provinces to the north, and the Mediterranean sea to the south.
South of Serik, the Koprucay River flows from the Toros Mountains through a number of wonderful canyons, and into the Mediterranean Sea. The Koprucay is one of Turkey's most beautiful natural recreation areas. Its Koprulu Canyon boasts numerous archaeological sites, including the ancient city of Selge (Zerk), fortresses, arched Roman bridges and historic roads.
