Comments: GREAT EXPERIENCE. Outstanding seafood gumbo, Shrimp Diane and seafood platter. Especially loved the gumbo... best I've ever had in an Austin-area restaurant. Everything had great taste. There was a short wait to get seated but no problem. Was well worth the short wait on a Saturday night. Atmosphere is charming and Melinda, owner, was very cordial and friendly. Someone at another table was enjoying a huge chicken fried steak, while another person had a huge platter of crawfish. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. I overheard someone talking about the fact that they try to come to Lousiana Longhorn Cafe at least twice a month. We will definately return.
