Canadian River

In its passage through the Texas Panhandle, the Canadian River enters from New Mexico above I-40 in Oldham County, then is dammed near Fritch to form Lake Meredith. From there, it curves northeast past Canadian in Hemphill County, and into Oklahoma. See also Canadian River.
