East Texas Oil Museum

Located at US 259 at Ross street. on the Kilgore College campus, is a tribute to the pioneers of the Texas oil industry. Exhibits, audiovisual presentations, photographs and a recreated 1930s boomtown trace the history and development of the vast East Texas Oil Field. Geological tools and equipment also are displayed.
