Located east on US 67/80, 3 blocks east of I-30, this park was the site of the 1936 Texas Centennial Exhibition. Many buildings reflecting art deco architechture, popularized by movie theaters in the 1930s, now house museums and provide exposition space for the state fair. Murals and sculptures of mermaids and winged horses are also featured on the 277-acre property.
