Falcon Reservoir

Owned jointly by U.S. and Mexico this 87,210 impoundment on Rio Grande was built for conservation, power, irrigation, flood control and recreation. Dam nearly five miles long and averages 100 feet high. Numerous private and public facilites, including Falcon State Park famed for excellent fishing especially black bass and catfish, and record largemouth bass. Fourteen miles W of Roma.
