Founded on October 1, 1967 by Miss Bessie Heard. This sanctuary is devoted to the natural history of north Texas. Exhibits include fossil, minerals, seashells, live animals and wildlife art. Museum highlights include prints by Bessie Heard. Picniking is permitted.
