Dowell House is a bed and breakfast classical style home built in 1870. It provides double occupancy accommodations in charming rooms, all with queen sized beds and private baths. Rooms are individually heated and air conditioned. They are furnished with toiletries, in-room coffee makers, hair dryers, telephones, TV, VCR, and fluffy terry bathrobes and desk work area. Attractions include the Heard Museum, Chestnut Square and Towne Lake Park. Children 12 and over are welcome with parents. No accommodations for pets. Smoking is not allowed.
