Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant is the seat of Titus County, and lies east of Dallas and southeast of Paris on US 271 below I-30 near Lake Bob Sandlin.

This town was established in the early 1900s. The near 14,000 residents make a living today by farming, livestock or oil.
