This 22-acre garden is the nation's largest rose showcase, featuring 38,000 rose bushes representing nearly 500 varieties. Roses are at their floral peak May-Nov. Commercial area growers ship hundreds of thousands of bushes throughout the nation and 25 foreign countries. The Rose Museum features educational exhibits of the rose-growing industry and displays former Rose Festival memorabilia, including queen's dresses.
