Y.O. Ranch is located in the heart of a 40,000-acre spread in the Texas Hill Country just 100 miles Northwest of San Antonio. The Y.O. was founded by Captain Charles Schreiner, who immigrated from Alsace-Lorraine to Texas with his family in 1852. The ranch is home to the nation's largest collection of natural roaming exotic animals. Over 10,000 animals make their home on the Y.O., including 55 different species, approximately 25 of which are available for hunting.
