Deleon City County Library

Deleon City County Library, serving an area of 5,000 residents, has a collection of 10,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 80 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $3,400. Patrons make 8,400 visits annually, and check out materials 8,800 times. Twenty-three percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
