Nellie Pederson Civic Library, serving an area of 3,500 residents, has a collection of 6,600 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 20 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as . Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $480. Patrons make 4,400 visits annually, and check out materials 8,800 times. Twenty-three percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
