The Inn is a collection of several historically significant buildings centered around a rose garden. The Main House was San Marcos' first Victorian structure, built in 1883. The Young Building, built in 1885 as the town's first apartment building, is across the street from the Main House. The Rock House is a single-story rock bungalow built in the 1930's; it contains two suites as well as two individual rooms. A fourth historic building on the complex houses two fully-furnished long-term stay apartments.
