Comments: This hotel is running a scam! We were charged an extra $100 for smoking in the room. Pretty interesting since we don't smoke and never have. We have called to protest the charge, but were hung up on by the management and told all smokers lied about smoking in the room. We have filed complaints with BBB and the attorney general against the hotel. If you stay here, take photos of your room as you check out and ask the front desk clerk to go up to your room to verify it is clean. One more thing, if they really found ashes all over the room and it was really in the condition they claim, then their security is terrible. I would definitely be afraid for my security in the room! Best Western cannot do anything on this either as it is independently owned and operated. I believe the hotel is charging people for smoking because it is their word against yours and there is no way to prove one way or the other. it is a great way to get extra money! Beware!
