This museum presents the history of Texas ranching through artifacts and the sculpture of Texas artist Electra Waggonner Biggs. Also displayed are 135 big-game trophies of william A. Bond. Collections of American Indian and pioneer items, gems, rocks and minerals. A Jack Teagarden exhibit contains memorabilia of the jazz trombonist, who was born in Vernon. Open Tuesday through Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m.
