Wunsche Bros. Cafe is a bare knuckles, country cafe - not a polished veneer, but an unpretentious atmosphere that makes the place all the more enduring. The hefty burgers have just enough grease to keep the juices flowing. Their chicken fried steak is a worthy version of the classic standard, big and tender with peppery gravy. Excellent bread is made on the premises and for such rustic environs, the desserts were a real surprise.
