Seminole Texas

Seminole is located southwest of Lubbock between Brownfield and Andrews on US 62/180 and US 385 on Seminole Draw near the Texas/New Mexico state line.

It was named for nearby Indian watering places. It is the seat of Gaines County, which is among the state's leaders in petroleum production, cotton, and peanuts.
