Sinton, the county seat of San Patricio County, is at the intersection of the Southern Pacific and Missouri Pacific railroads and US 77 and US 181 just north of Corpus Christi between Beeville and Aransas Pass. Sinton is part of the Corpus Christi, Texas metro area. In 1885 this town was established as a station on San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railroad.
