This is a structure designed by Rezo Paino. The changing exhibits draw from more than 10,000 pieces of Byzantine and medieval art, Pacific and European paintings, as well as surrealistic and contemporary works. Cy Twombly Gallery contains work by the American artist. Other highlights include the nearby Rothko Chapel with murals by the abstract impressionist, and the Barnett Newman sculpture "Broken Obelisk," dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr.
