This is one of only two observation towers in all of Texas. It was built for the 1968 San Antonio World's Fair. A concrete spire rising 750 feet, symbolizes the desire for archievement. A water park around the tower features calm water, fountains and waterfalls. Glass-fronted elevators speed passengers up the outside of the tower to an observation deck and revolving restaurant for views of the city and 100 miles of south Texas hill country.
