Impoundment on Middle and South Concho Rivers has one of the longest earthfill dams ever built by US Bureau of Reclamation: 8.1 miles with max height of 131 feet. Covers 9,080 acres and offers boating, swimming, fishing and other water sports with lakeside camps and service facilities. Eight miles SW of San Angelo.
