Tarlton House is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places. A three story Queen Ann Victorian was the largest home in Hillsboro at the time it was built. A grand stair case, wrap-around porch and beautiful stained glass windows add to the the charm and grace of this beautiful old girl. Our large common area invites you to step back in time to the prosperty of Hill County's glory when 'cotton was king'.Delight in a full breakfast and hear the story of the Tarlton's and how this home was 'saved' for us all to enjoy.
