Chichagof Island is one of Alaska's ten largest islands. The island is located very close to Juneau and Sitka. West Chchagof-Yakobi Wilderness is also on the the island.

Chichagof Island is part of the world's largest coastal temperate rain forest, Tongass National Forest.
