Coal Creek Historic Mining District

Located within the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, Coal Creek Historic Mining District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The district encompasses the lower eight miles of Coal Creek. Visitors can view the Coal Creek dredge, built in 1935, and used to work more than $29,000,000 from the creek.
