Eldred Rock Lighthouse

Eldred Rock Lighthouse is built on a small island in the Lynn Canal, twenty miles southeast of Haines. Completed in 1905, Eldred Rock Lighthouse is one of the oldest remaining lighthouses in Alaska. The octagonal-shaped building is unique among lighthouses.

The lens from the lighthouse is on display at the Sheldon Museum & Cultural Center in Haines.

The lighthouse can be viewed by boat or float plane.
