Chilkat State Park

This state park is located about eight miles south of Haines and is just over 6,000 acres. There are 32 RV sites and three tent sites. There are picnic sites, pit toilets and boat launch. There is beach access, and a view of the glaciers.

There is also a hiking trail to the southern tip of the Chilkat Peninsula at Seduction Point. To get here, follow Mud Bay Road out of Haines past the Alaska Marine Highway terminal. The paved road turns to gravel.
