Juneau-Douglas City Museum |
The Juneau-Douglas City Museum is located in the Veterans Memorial Building across from the State Capitol in Juneau. The City Museum exhibits early gold-mining, Tlingit culture, and life in the Juneau-Douglas area. Special exhibits include a hands-on pictorial adventure of Juneau from 1881 to present, a 25-minute historic video, and over 6,000 Juneau area artifacts. The museum store features books, notecards, and more relating to local history and culture.
