Knik Glacier |
Knik Glacier is 28 miles long, up to 6 miles wide, and over 1000 ft. thick. It is one of Alaska's grandest natural attractions. The glacier is located just one hour north of Anchorage and is visible from Palmer and Wasilla.
Knik Glacier is rimmed with spectacular hanging glaciers. The glacier has been used as a film backdrop for movies and music videos.
