Mt. Wrangell |
Mt. Wrangell is the highest volcanoe in Alaska at 14,163 feet. The mountain is located in south central Alaska within Wrangell-St Elias NP and Preserve.
The volcanoe has erupted five times, the last of which was in 1902. Mt. Wrangell has more snow and ice in its caldera than any other active volcanoe in the world.
