Tanana River Pipeline Bridge |
Eight miles north of Delta Junction, the Tanana River Pipeline Bridge spans 1,200 feet - making it the second longest of all the 13 major bridges along the pipeline's 800 miles.
The bridge is designed to withstand a 7.5 earthquake, as well as 100 mph winds, and the steel can handle temperatures as low as -60 degrees.
