Whale Pass Alaska

Whale Pass is located in P. of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Census Area. Whale Pass is a small community on the North Island Rd of Prince of Wales Island. It was originally a floating logging camp on Whale Passage. The logging camp closed in the early 1980's, but new settlers moved in after a state land sale. Fishing is good along the North Island Rd.
