Eagle Gate |
This landmark was erected in 1859 at the entrance to Brigham Young's property, leading to the mouth of City Creek Canyon. Replaced several times over the years, the present 4,000 pound eagle features a wingspan of 20 feet, and caps the 76-foot span Eagle Gate. Located at the corner of State Street and South Temple.
