Little Sahara Recreation Area

Two-thirds of the 60,000-acre Little Sahara Recreation Area is reserved for use by off-road vehicles. The area encompasses the sagebrush flats of the Black Mountain area, as well as a vast area of free-moving sand dunes. Access to the area is 30 miles west of Nephi; the recreation area is managed by the BLM. Popular for camping, hiking, exploring and photography. This area is mainly known as a center for off road vehicle use.
