At "the heart of the Paiute ATV trail," Marysvale is located in Piute County in central Utah south of Sevier on US 89 near Piute State Park. Mining was once a large industry in Marysvale. Gold, Silver, and other valuable metals brought prospectors and miners to the area from the 1860s through the early 1900s. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 380, an increase of 16 since 1990.
