The museum features exhibits, memorabilia, and paintings which chronicle the history of Mormonism. View such items as a covered wagon like one used by thousands of pioneers. View a 1847 log home and see an original 1830 Book of Mormon.

Slide shows and videos are shown to help educate people about the Mormon Church. The building has two main levels which feature both reproductions of historic objects, as well as art and rotating exhibits.

There is also a museum store, from which you can purchase postcards, bookmarks, etc. Children's activities include puppet shows, films, and costumed actors.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
