Dining cruises, sightseeing tours and private charters are available. Salt Island Adventures began running public and private cruises in February of 1996. Offering cruises on the Great Salt Lake on a 65-foot luxury cruise liner. Cruises depart from Antelope Island State Park marina. Choose from one-hour scenic cruises, evening cruises, dinner/lunch cruises, six-hour cruises, and private charter cruises. The season is between March 1 and January 1.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
