Temple Square

This historic and beautifully landscaped 10-acre square, located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, features the six-spired Salt Lake Temple and the domed Tabernacle that houses the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Free concerts are held most weekends at the Assembly Hall, also located in the square. Choir rehearsals are free to the public on Thursday evenings, daily organ recitals are free as are daily guided tours that leave every few minutes from the flagpole area.

The square also contains the Seagull Monument, the Handcart Monument, and several other memorials and statues. The square is bounded by North Temple, South Temple, West Temple, and Main streets.
