This houses all of the different departments of the Mormon Church. Visitors are allowed to go to the observation deck on the 26th floor. This gives a panoramic view of the city. The building is the highest in Salt Lake City, at 28 stories, though it was originally planned to be 42 stories.

There are maps of the world carved into the sides of the building, which was dedicated in July of 1975.
