Tooele County, Tooele lies southwest of
Salt Lake City on Hwys 36 and 112, and serves Tooele Army Depot (TEAD), as a residential and manufacturing community. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 16,748, an increase of 2,861 since 1990.
