Established in 1969, the Utah System of Higher Education governs four four-year campuses, enrolling about 100,000 students and employing 2700 faculty members. The school offers instruction in applied technology, associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate programs.
In addition, there are five other institutions in the system:
- Dixie State College of Utah
- Utah Valley State College
- Snow College
- College of Eastern Utah
- Salt Lake Community College
Utah Valley State College and Dixie State College of Utah also offer some four-year programs.
