This was once the town hall and market building where locals exchanged political ideas as well as goods and services. It houses a collection of photographs, tools, furniture, paintings, toys, clothing and pottery that traces the history of
Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. A Civil War collection is displayed. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1-5pm, March-November; Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1-4pm, the rest of the year. Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and December 24-25 and 31.
