The Second Calvary Baptist Church was organized from a small bank of worshippers in August 1879. It is a congregation of believers, actively involved in the life of its community through a variety of social ministries. The church is a united body of Jesus Christ, called to be Gods ambassadors by lifting up the name of Jesus Christ and his purpose to all people through the preaching of the gospel, teaching, healing, nurture, worship, ministry, fellowship and witnessing.
