This is a Federal-style mansion built in 1799 by merchant John Shepherd Kerr. Visitors can view rooms furnished in period. In addition to the restored mansion itself, the Kerr Place museum offers a collection of watermen's tools, local historic photos, and natural history pieces. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm, March 1 through December 20. Under 18 admitted free of charge.
